ARTIST'S STATEMENT
(from, and in memory of, Joe Downing. American Impressionist. 1925-2008)
“One does not become an artist. One discovers that one IS an artist.
And what one can do, and hopefully does, is to take those things
which He or She has loved, and extract the greatest possible meaning and beauty.”
Cartier-Bresson described his photography as capturing a “decisive moment.”
My concern is the "emotional moment.” My intention is to immerse myself in it.
With minimum regard for time, money or hardship.
And reflect, to the best of my ability, “the greatest possible meaning and beauty.”
ARTIST'S BIOGRAPHY
American by birth, European by choice, Christopher Strong is a
self-taught multi/media artist.
In addition to photography, he is:
a Singer/Songwriter - No Borders, Sail On
a Composer/Multi/Instrumentalist - The Healing Garden, The Healing Gift, The Sorcier
a Recording Engineer/Producer - Hybrid, Colors of Spain, Whispers of Spain,
Healing Chants, Mary’s Message, Celtic Angels, Amora Musicale.
Christopher is also the Creator/Producer/Director/
Host/Tea Boy, of the lifestyle adventure TV series,
“BICYCLE GOURMET'S TREASURES OF FRANCE."
And, the author of “Gliding to the Bonheur.” His chronicle of the “Bicycle Gourmet experience.”
