Way Old Geezers
Artist's Statement
"There are olive trees in a certain corner of the Mediterranean more than a thousand years old. Still producing olives. Definitely - "WAY OLD GEEZERS!" The passing Centuries have sculpted them into an unimaginable variety of forms. Tortured. Graceful. Imposing. Whimsical. I chose to interpret them in black and white infra-red to emphasize the contribution of light and shadow to these incredible examples of Nature's sculpture."
