Artist's Statement
"I have always been fascinated by imperfect beauty. The faded rose. The assymetrical Renaissance face. The crumbling chateau embraced by leaf and vine. After starting this series with literal ruins, I continued to search for other examples of ruined beauty. Interpreting them mainly in color. To contrast the often melancholy mood of the chateaus' black and white infra-red."
